VIP Sighted Guide X Future Shock Foundation T-Shirt

Being a Sighted Guide is about more than helping someone get from one place to another. It's about being part of the team.

This t-shirt was created to celebrate the people who walk alongside VIPs  as they navigate the world together.

The left sleeve features the Future Shock Foundation logo, representing the organization's work to bring VIPs, Sighted Guides and their loved ones together in public spaces to connect, experience new things and enjoy life together.

Whether you're a spouse, family member, friend or someone who regularly acts as a Sighted Guide, this t-shirt is a way to proudly show that you're part of the team.

The Design

The Future Shock Foundation logo is featured on the left sleeve of the t-shirt.

The design was created with Future Shock's community events in mind, including their upcoming White Cane Day gathering at Disneyland, where VIPs, Sighted Guides and their loved ones come together.

It's not about being the person who takes over.

It's about being the person who is there when needed, offers information, helps navigate the unexpected and shares the experience.

Why "Sighted Guide"?

A Sighted Guide isn't a caregiver.

A Sighted Guide can be the person who describes what's around you, points out an obstacle, helps navigate an unfamiliar space or simply provides an extra set of eyes when they're needed.

Sometimes the help is obvious.

Sometimes it's so ordinary that nobody notices.

It's in those ordinary moments that they do some of the most extraordinary things.
