Why I Created VIPwear
When I began losing my central vision in my twenties, I was terrified of what my future would look like. I resisted using a white cane because I thought it meant my life would never be the same.
Looking back, I often ask myself:
What if I had seen people confidently living with vision loss before my diagnosis?
What if I had seen them working, travelling, raising families, enjoying coffee with friends, and simply living life?
I don't think I would have stayed in that place of fear for nearly as long.
 
That is why I created VIPwear.
Not simply to make products—but to create hope, build understanding, and remind people that life continues after vision loss.
