I had perfect vision until I turned 27, that's when I started experiencing sight issues. With a busy family life, I initially dismissed it as tiredness. Persistent eye exams revealed significant damage, and I spent 15 years seeking a diagnosis. In 2019, genetic testing identified a rare form of central vision loss. Despite the challenges, I created VIPwear to help others discreetly signal their vision impairment.
